Nottingham photos

Two evenings ago, I went on a walkabout around Nottingham, taking with me my new wide-angled camera lens, to try it out. I’m very pleased with the results. Here are two
of my photos …

  1. Thank you for your recent thoughts on Flickr. I am letting it grow on me. About to refresh my memory on how to display slideshows. The new lens looks quite spectacular at dusk and night. . The summer drought is well and truely broken here. We are about to get a weeks rain/drizzle/showers. The farmers are happy though they may have on going feed stock supply problems in winter, having fed out some of their winter feed in summer.
See the latest 7 pics at my flickr site for some winter colour from the Canon G12. Have been experimenting with ISO800/No flash and indirect lighting indoors. http://www.flickr.com/photos/martin-nz/
Regards from a sunny but chilly winters day in New Zealand

  2. Flickr FAQ was not helpful on running slideshows. I opened the set I want to run in one and hunted for a slide show tab but to no avail. Googled it and found you can do this. Add /show to the url of the set and it will run in a slideshow.
I send the url of set slide shows to friends and family via email. FINALLY worked out how 🙂
